“ Hungama Indian Street Food, London. If you’re on the hunt for truly authentic Indian street food in London, Hungama Indian Street Food is an absolute hidden gem worth discovering. Tucked away yet full of bold flavours, this spot delivers an experience that’s both satisfying and refreshingly unpretentious. Service: From the moment we arrived, the customer service was impeccable. A special mention goes to Dharti, whose warmth, friendliness, and attentiveness stood out. She was incredibly helpful, always alert, and made the whole visit feel personal and welcoming — a rare quality that adds genuine charm to the dining experience. Food: The menu shines with a focus on Gujarati-style flavours, offering a vibrant twist on classic North Indian street food. The paneer dish was a standout — beautifully seasoned and cooked to perfection, bursting with authentic flavour. The onion bhaji had that home-cooked, fresh-from-the-fryer quality, served piping hot with a crispy texture that hit all the right notes. Another highlight was the masala chips — perfectly crunchy, generously seasoned, and addictively good. Pair those with the gira soda, and you’ve got a combo that encapsulates the spice and refreshment of true Indian street fare. The samosas were impressively crispy and held their own compared to the many versions you find around London — no soggy bottoms here. Portions are generous, offering great value for money, and prices are very reasonable given the quality and authenticity. On a sunny day, the outdoor seating is a bonus, making it a lovely casual spot to soak in the street food vibes. Overall: Hungama is more than just another Indian food stop — it’s a flavourful journey with a soul. With excellent service, hearty portions, and authentic taste at its core, it’s a place you’ll want to return to again and again. There’s so much more on the menu to explore, and based on this visit, it promises to be just as impressive. ”
“ Food was really flavorful and portions were adequate. Everything is made fresh and served hot. The chili chicken was fantastic but it is quite spicy. The man running the register was very kind and took a lot of care serving customers and making sure everything was fine. Restaurant has limited seating since it is a smaller venue but still enough for a few families to be seated comfortably. Not a crazy vibrant atmosphere as the focus of the restaurant was serving good Indian street food, however it was still well lit and gave off a friendly and fun vibe with the Bollywood music playing in the background . ”
“ “I had a wonderful dining experience at your restaurant. The flavors were authentic and rich, especially the chilli chicken and samosa chaat — absolutely delicious! The staff were attentive and friendly, and the ambiance was warm and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends.” ”
“ Excellent food, made with fresh ingredients and lots of veggies. If you are not very hungry, a starter can be enough. We were four people and ordered four starters plus some cheese nam. Everything was delicious. My kids loved it. The service was very good, and quick. If we are in the area again during our stay in London, we will come again. UPDATE: by popular demand, we came again three days later, on our last day in London. Again, a very good experience. We loved it! ”

The blend of spices, the rich aromas, and the variety of dishes made the whole experience unforgettable.Whether you're a fan of vegetarian options or love rich, meaty curries, there's something for everyone. The naan bread fresh out of the tandoor and the cooling raita were the perfect complements to the bold, spicy dishes. food isn’t just good—it’s soul-satisfying. Highly recommended! ”
